Executive Profile
Tina Hamilton, PHR
PRESIDENT/CEO HIREVISION
Hamilton started as a business owner in the 1990’s when she ran one of the Lehigh Valley’s most respected staffing services, Interim Services, which specialized in permanent job placement. After notching consistent double-digit yearly growth as General Manager, she was offered an opportunity to purchase the regional franchise in July 1997. Four years later, after a name change to Spherion Staffing Services and a corporate merger, Hamilton sold back her franchise, giving her the capital to launch hireVision.
Hamilton launched hireVision as an outsourced partner to small and mid-sized businesses whose growth hinges on hiring and retaining quality employees. hireVision was the region’s first company to provide hiring management services and has since grown to help redefine HR for small and mid-sized businesses nationwide.
As a Pennsylvania business leader, Hamilton is involved and gives her time and expertise to many organizations (by the time you are reading this, there will probably be more to add to this list!!) She is a very active member of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, currently serving on the Board of Governors and on two Masterminds groups. Her past Chamber involvement includes serving on the board of the Executives Women’s Council, as a Director on the Small Business Council, Chairperson of the Masterminds Committee, and as a member of the Marketing Committee. Hamilton is a member of The Society of Human Resources (SHRM), Women’s Entrepreneurs of Lehigh Valley and also the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation. Previously, she was a member of the Lehigh Valley Executives Forum and on the Marketing Committee of the LVEDC. Hamilton has volunteered as an instructor for four years with Pathways, educating at-risk students in their senior year of high school and has served as a past board member for the Interfaith Coalition on Ethics in the Workplace, Parents Advisory Board for Johnson and Wales University in Providence RI and as a board member of the Applewood Homeowners Association. Tina speaks at numerous venues including SHRM, Lehigh University, Muhlenberg College, and many others.
Hamilton was awarded two awards through the Eastern Pa Business Journal. In April 2004, Hamilton was voted as one of the “Top 20 under 40″ accomplished individuals. In May 2006 Hamilton was named a CEO Spotlight Award winner.
An additional honor came in March 2007 when Hamilton and her team were honored by Lehigh Valley Suits for rating the top in the Human Resources category for the Lehigh Valley region.
A native of Philadelphia, PA and resident of Fogelsville, PA., Hamilton is the daughter of a Holocaust survivor. She is married to Jeffrey and has a daughter Rachel, son Anthony and daughter-in-law Stacie.
